Hi, I'm Terrence! My job is to help ensure that all AIM recording students move through our program successfully and graduate on time. I assist recording students with scheduling, class hours, lab hours, and grades. And if a student has any concerns regarding classes and/or instructors, or is experiencing any other problems that might prevent his or her successful progress at AIM, I'm here to help! Together, we'll identify problems and find solutions to effectively maintain the student's forward momentum here at AIM. Part of my job is to follow up with our students, making sure that they're successfully progressing through the program, but to do so in a positive, empowering manner by helping to provide students with resources and opportunities to maximize their learning experience while at AIM.

Jay Wynne holds two Bachelor degrees in Digital Media and Sound Design/Computer Arts with a minor in music, and he has worked on productions for Cartoon Network, Aflac, Comcast, and Nickelodeon, among others. Jay has also worked in high-end studios in the Atlanta area involving music recording, sound design, engineering, 3D graphics, and animation. Additionally, Jay is a drummer and has toured with professional bands since 1999.

Combining and having a understanding of both the visual and sonic spectrum allow him to have a better understanding of the work overall, and in doing so allows him to create a more integrated piece of work that has an awareness of both. The presentation and execution of the work is also more harmonious in most cases. Jay believes that it is very hard for a piece of work to truly reach its full potential without the careful application of both disciplines.

A graduate of Shorter University with a Bachelors of Music (applied major: Piano, applied minor: voice), James has travelled and played since his teens in a variety of styles including rock, jazz, gospel, classical and country. He has performed in, or been the director of over forty musicals. It was this performance background that helped him appreciate how sound reinforcement can degrade or enhance the performance and led to his interest in live sound and live recordings.

After apprenticing under several knowledgeable people, James was manager of the Pro Audio dept of a Music store and head of Sound Installations for nine years. He still provides sound for a variety of groups including the broadcast of a local community orchestra.
